About the team

Based in Manila, is an extension of our Melbourne based Technology Services team, you will join a fast paced, fast growing and dynamic IT team which work on a large variety of operational and project related tasks and technologies. The team are responsible for financial IT systems which involve careful handling and a process driven approach to the IT environment.

What you will be doing

• Technical work in Linux System Administration, Networking and other technical areas

• Server patching and compliance related activities • Vulnerability management and remediation

• Joining the rotating on call roster

• Building virtual servers

• Using and supporting FIS custom tools and applications in the midrange environment

• Working closely with onshore and offshore teams

• Controls user access and passwords

• Monitoring usage and performance.

• Trains personnel on system usage.

• Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.

• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring

• Network

○ Knowledge in F5/Load Balancers, switches/routers/firewalls

• Linux

○ Server Build and Software Installation

○ Patching

○ Maintenance and Capacity Planning

○ Server Hardware/Software Troubleshooting

○ Server Certificate Renewals

○ Scripting skills

○ Automation tools

• Security Compliance and Vulnerability Management

○ Familiar in server endpoint controls like SIEM, Bit9, BigFix, Fireeye, QRadar and similar technologies

○ Knowledge in server vulnerabilities remediation

• Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
