Systems Administrator / Service Desk

We are a highly technical group and nurture growth, with a technical culture of cross-trained teammates with opportunities to develop additional skillsets. **Responsibilities:** + Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network and systems engineers. + Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. + Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts on multiple networks. + Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software. + Interacts with users regularly. + Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. + Interact with customers to handle service inquiries and problems. + Provide support to the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. + Distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system problems. + Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, develop, and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements. Works within a JIRA ticketing environment. + Duties include examining customer problems and implementing appropriate corrective action to initiate a repair or return. + Analyze recurring problems, annotating, and initiates solutions for preventing reoccurrence. + Work with systems and network engineers in implementing enterprise wide systems and technologies. + Ability to install and troubleshoot workstations, thin clients, applications, printers/scanners, phones, and various other IT equipment. + Opportunities to work within both Windows and Linux environments. **Requirements:** + Strong working experience with troubleshooting in Windows environments + Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) + Experience creating technical documentation to include diagrams, both logical and physical + Ability to clearly communicate and troubleshoot with customers + Experience working with ticketing systems (i.e. Jira, ServiceNow, etc) + Experience working within classified enterprise networks + Team focused with the ability to collaborate technically with peers + Required IAT Certs: one or more of the following: Security+, CASP+, or CISSP + Required Vendor Cert: one or more of the following: Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Netapp, Pure + Storage, HP, Dell, Linux+, RedHat. If not currently achieved, then must achieve within 6 months of hire **Clearance Required:** + Active TS / SCI-Eligible **Minimum Years of Experience:** + 4+ years of experience operating in an enterprise IT environment executing Systems Administration and/or end-user support. **Required Certifications:** + Required IAT Certs: one or more of the following: Sec+, CASP, CISSP + Required Vendor Cert: one or more of the following: Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Netapp, Pure Storage, HP, Dell, Linux+, RedHat. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
