**Job Description:**
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced **Systems Analyst** with specialized expertise in **systems assurance** to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. This critical role involves overseeing the implementation of **systems assurance practices** , including **RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety), EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), noise, vibration** , and obtaining regulatory and operations approvals for railway/metro projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex assurance activities and navigating the **RTA approval process** or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Systems Assurance Leadership**
Lead the development and execution of systems assurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with **international safety and performance standards** throughout the project lifecycle.
**Regulatory and Operational Approvals**
Drive the regulatory and **RTA approval process** , ensuring timely submission and approval of all required documentation, including safety cases, test plans, and compliance reports.
**Multi-Disciplinary Integration**
Coordinate and resolve system integration challenges across subsystems such as **signaling, rolling stock, traction power, and communications** , ensuring seamless operation and performance.
**Noise and Vibration Management**
Address noise and vibration challenges, particularly in urban environments, by designing and validating mitigation measures in compliance with environmental standards.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
Act as the key technical liaison between the client, contractors, regulatory authorities, and operational teams, ensuring alignment on safety, performance, and compliance goals.
**Systems Assurance**
Develop comprehensive assurance plans, conduct risk assessments, and oversee hazard identification and mitigation processes.
**Regulatory Compliance**
Navigate the approval process with the RTA or equivalent regulatory entities, ensuring timely and successful regulatory certification.
**EMC Management**
Conduct EMC impact assessments, address compatibility issues, and ensure compliance with standards such as **EN 50121-4** and **IEC 61508** .
**Noise and Vibration Mitigation**
Oversee analyses, propose solutions, and validate measures to address noise and vibration challenges.
**Integration and Testing:**
Ensure integration of all systems is smooth and complies with **safety and operational standards** , managing validation and verification activities.
**Stakeholder Coordination**
Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, facilitating approvals and resolving technical issues promptly.
