Systems Analyst
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Analyst based in Tallahassee, Florida. This role will be primarily focused on the development, implementation, and maintenance of a new system for the public safety sector. As a Systems Analyst, you will be working closely with a team of professionals, including a Project Manager, Business Analysts, and other Systems Analysts, to deliver an upgraded system that meets customer requirements and adheres to legislative budget requirements. Responsibilities: • Participate in the redesign and programming of the new MEPIC system, utilizing Java/Angular/Springboot programming environment and SQL 2019 database infrastructure. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, plan, organize, and implement system requirements, interfaces, scheduled processes, functions, and features. • Ensure adherence to established Project Control Processes, Procedures, and Change Control. • Provide technical leadership within the project team and to others, both internal and external. • Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the system development process. • Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, the Project Manager, and the project team to ensure successful system implementation. • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the system. • Handle deployment and implementation planning, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. • Code the new system to meet functional and nonfunctional requirements as identified. • Contribute to the recovery of missing persons by providing an efficient and effective system. Requirements • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively relay complex system-related information to non-technical personnel • Proficiency in planning and coordinating various IT projects and initiatives • Familiarity with standard procedures and best practices within the IT field • Experience in managing budget processes within the IT department • Proficiency in working with databases, including design, security, and implementation • Knowledge of SQL and Java programming languages • Experience in working with various stakeholders, ensuring their IT needs are met • Proficiency in system integration and upgrades, ensuring seamless operation of IT systems • Understanding of fund management within an IT department • Experience in change management, particularly within IT projects • Knowledge of streamlining processes and procedures to improve efficiency • Ability to track and resolve missing invoices within the IT department • Experience in ensuring deliverables are met within agreed timelines • Strong collaboration skills, with a focus on working with various teams within the organization • Experience in managing IT deployments, ensuring they are completed within the agreed timeline • Understanding of recovery processes and procedures within the IT field • Knowledge of various business process functions and how they relate to IT systems • Strong coordination skills, with a focus on ensuring various IT projects and initiatives are executed seamlessly.
