Systems Analyst I

The Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) has implemented Planview PPM Pro as a program and portfolio management tool for project status reporting and resource time reporting in new product development. Data from this tool is visualized and analyzed in Microsoft Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making across the division and within individual business units. The ideal candidate for this role will support current use of PPM Pro, enable future applications of the system, and promote usage compliance of PPM Pro and the Agile documentation system.

The responsibilities for this role include:

Support global users in day-to-day system administration (e.g., new user login support, new project records creation, role-level access maintenance, data integrity assurance).Support the Portfolio Management Business Analyst in importing and extracting data from PPM Pro to produce Power BI-based dashboards and reports.Develop Power BI reports and dashboards as per the requirements from internal customers.Support testing of new features and functions thoroughly in the test environment before deployment.Partner with the Agile Documentation Steward to ensure alignment between PPM Pro data and product development documentation in Agile (e.g., audit usage compliance).Document new processes and procedures.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or B.E./B.Tech from an accredited university/college.Business analytics experience.Minimum 2 years of work experience in industry.Experience with crafting sophisticated reports and dashboards in Power BI required.Ability to collaborate with global teams and build positive relationships.Meticulous and organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Expertise with advanced functions and calculations in Microsoft Excel.Proficient in crafting workflows, diagrams, and presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint or Visio.
