Systems Analyst - Inventory Planning

Job Description Summary

The Demand & Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for driving all elements of bay inventory management to include inventory planning, venue configuration, executing inventory strategy in Topgolf systems, and driving performance management in partnership with venue operators. The Demand & Inventory Planning Analyst will also help drive ad-hoc analyses and shape strategic initiatives related to inventory planning and execution

Job Responsibilities

Inventory AnalysisManage all aspects of bay inventory strategy and execution for a portfolio of 15-20 Topgolf venue locations, including analyzing historic player demand to tailor inventory strategies for individual venue locations, developing inventory plans and templates, and executing tactical inventory adjustments in Topgolf Systems Regularly review inventory to flag unmet pockets of player demand; collaborate with operators to execute inventory adjustments to fulfill Conduct ad-hoc analysis to inform potential changes to inventory management approach; build robust business cases to support analysesPerformance ManagementDrive robust performance management cadence with venue operations teams; prepare clear and actionable reporting that displays progress and highlights opportunities; ensure operators regularly review performance and take direct actions to improve Synthesize and share learnings/best practices on performance management with rest of Inventory Management team; collaborate with team members to improve team’s processes across all venue locationsVenue Operator CoachingDrive regular coaching cadence with venue operators to review venue-level inventory management decisions and suggest improvements Provide actionable feedback and ad-hoc recommendations to venue operators to capture short-term inventory opportunities Capture, synthesize, and surface insights from operators to Inventory Management team; prioritize and test adjustments to inventory approach as needed

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree a plus or equivalent exp.Proven experience in a leadership role directly managing a substantial operation (15-20 people, >$1M in revenue); experience with direct P&L ownership a plusRobust financial acumen and financial analysis skillsStrong track-record of strategic planning and project management abilitiesEffective leadership and team management skillsExperience with coaching and performance managementProficiency in data analysis and performance metricsExperience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring ad-hoc problem-solving
