Candidates MUST reside in the state of Florida or be willing to relocate **Responsibilities:** + Provides leadership for formulating and defining the system scope and objectives based on customer needs. + Provides leadership for responding to request from users for new or modified systems. + Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. + Recommends and prepares technical procedure and design for new or existing applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines. + Analyzes and revises existing system logic problems and documentation as necessary. + Tests, debugs, documents and in-services system modifications and upgrades. + Has full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis. + Documents and drives best practices throughout the system. + Ensures that change management policies and procedures are being applied within team. + Takes ownership of resolution for product and/or implementation issues. + Acts as project leader for designated projects as assigned. + May work on multiple software applications and/or support multiple institutions. + Team members in this position are effective and self-sufficient in working with a diverse technology portfolio and regularly provide guidance, mentorship and training to less experienced Systems Analyst. + Expected to take on additional informal leadership assignments within their area of expertise. + Oversee vendor maintenance activities, including change management, user access controls, code updates, and system support + Conduct weekly IS touchpoint meetings with multiple service lines + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex issues, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities, communication, and leadership skills. **Minimum Qualifications:** + 10 years as a Systems Analyst; or 10 years Planning, Design, Testing, Implementation, Support and Analysis of programs and software; or 8 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in Computer Science related field. + Experience in systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design is required. + Must be able to provide forward-thinking technical leadership for application systems. + Requires understanding of both the current and future states of the technology and is able to define and articular pros, cons and recommendations to senior leadership. Leads risk assessment and root cause analysis efforts. + Effectively communicates to leadership the status and resolution plan for complex technology issues. + Participates in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation. Must have sound knowledge of multiple core technical areas or business processes Understanding of interface specifications.
