You will be a System Architect on the Battle Space Environment (BSE) Lab team which develops a high fidelity, physics-based, multi-spectral simulation environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a BSE System Architect you will be responsible for designing the software environment which supports multiple high fidelity fast jet simulations used for Test and Training. You will utilize excellent communication and presentation skills to interface with upper management, other development teams, and both internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing simulation architecture and vision for complex BSE Environment (aircraft weapon, sensor, environment and threat models).

Candidate would expected to become SME in the respective areas they are supporting. Candidate will be responsible for developing overall systems design for product being developed. Candidate will also be responsible for ensuring Engineers are developing their products according to the System Design. Candidate should be capable of supporting various Aircraft Simulation design platforms.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline

• Software Engineer or equivalent Software/Systems Architecture experience

• Simulation Software Development experience
Desired Skills:
• Experience with battlespace environment models/simulation
• Experience using an integrated design tool (Cameo or Rational Rose, Rhapsody or SYSML)
• Experience with battlespace threat and friendly emission models/simulation
• Experience with requirements decomposition
• Knowledge of F-35 and/or F-22 aircraft weapons systems.
• Sensor modeling experience.
• Experience working with Intel Agencies developing threat and friendly entities.
• Experience in team leadership
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
