You will be the Systems Architect Staff for a Skunk Works program\. The Systems Architecture team is responsible for developing architectures for a variety of air vehicle and ground systems, ensuring that the system of systems meets the customer’s needs\.
**What You Will Be Doing:**
As the Systems Architecture Staff you will focus on prioritizing customer capabilities and developing an architectural approach that supports continuous, incremental advancement for their capability set\.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing, developing and overseeing system architectures, including SW systems design activities
•Serving as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture\.
• Ensuring conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system\.
• Developing systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition\.
• Supporting internal and external design reviews, including international teams
• Maintaining knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies\.
• Developing models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development\.
Working closely with the platform system architect to deploy software intensive capabilities to the platform\.
• Collaborating with architects across platforms to synergize LM Aero systems for re\-use\.

**This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth\.**
**You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.**
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline \(Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering preferred\)
• Demonstrated knowledge of software design
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems architecture best practices
**Desired Skills:**
• Demonstrated experience with mission systems hardware and software design
• Experience with embedded processing and infrastructure
• Familiarity with cyber and safety requirements
• Cameo or other MBSE modeling experience highly desired
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
