Systems Auditor III

Job Summary:

This position is a lead IT auditor. Responsible for the supervision and execution of IT audit work programs. Plans and executes audits on complex IT processes and systems within established time frames and budgeted hours.Develops IT audit scope and work programsOversees work of senior and staff auditors and may execute IT audit testingDocuments audit test results in accordance with audit policies and procedures.Identifies, develops and documents control issuesInterviews and gathers information from management regarding the process being auditedProvides feedback on staff and senior auditors- performanceAssists the manager or General Auditor in executing the IT auditDocument the IT audit results and issues as part of the audit report.Establishes buy in with management by thoroughly working through issues.Offers value-added recommendations to management on internal controls.


IT Division-specific Responsibilities:

Provides support to external auditing firms and internal Horizon personnel as needed to coordinate divisional resource to audit requests.Reviews audit work papers prepared by others to ensure documentation adequately supports completed work. Where necessary, review comments are made for follow up by staffReviews the audit points and recommendations made by staff to determine their adequacy and importance, if applicable.Discusses all audit recommendations with appropriate levels of management to obtain necessary approvals.Provides assistance to Manager/Director in selecting and training staff personnel. This includes directing, advising and assisting less-experienced auditors in planning and completing assignments.


 

Education/Experience:

Minimum high school diploma or GEDBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, Information Technology major preferred4+ years prior IT Audit experience


Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:

CISA preferred


Knowledge:

Extensive knowledge of audit and control concepts, including application and general computer controls


Skills and Abilities:

Requires strong ability to think analyticallyRequires strong verbal and written communication skillsRequires the ability to prioritize work and multitaskRequires strong organizational and project management skills

Salary Range:

$94,900 - $129,570

​This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.  This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
