Systems Development Engineer, OTS - Global Portfolio Strategy

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement technology solutions for PLM and supply chain systems supporting Amazon's global operations
- Build and maintain resilient, scalable infrastructure components for critical business applications
- Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
Identify and resolve architectural deficiencies in existing systems
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic solutions for business-critical applications
- Collaborate with partner teams to improve system integration and performance
- Lead technical design reviews and contribute to architecture discussions
- Troubleshoot complex operational issues and drive root cause resolution
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical business systems
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
