Systems Engineer, Senior:

 

In support of the PEO C3N Program, Bowhead seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Fort Bliss, TX.

Responsibilities Planning and documenting application architectures and data flowsCreating checklists for verifying system operational functionalityBuild and maintain virtual servers for enterprise services, to include domain controllers, email servers, chat servers and knowledge management servers for experimentationBuild and maintain virtual servers for mission command services at remote exercise locationCoordinating system implementation effortsCoordinate cybersecurity implementation effortsAct as tier 3 lead for issue resolutionAdvise Program Managers on architectures and system placement to best benefit a fair testAct as a liaison between PMs and other organizations for coordinated efforts and major configurationsHost weekly planning meetings with all stakeholders that participate in the PC, CFWE and JWA test eventsDevelop the PC, CFWE and JWA Application Smart book which documents the data flow and interoperability between systemsOther duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 10 years in systems engineering supporting DOD programs and a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university; additional years of experience and a BA/BS may be substituted for the MS/MA degree.Understands basic operational functionality for AMCS systems to include but not limited to CPCE, TDP, AFATDS, JBCP/MMC, AMDWS, DCGS, TAIS, DDS, C2R, and NWUnderstand system interoperability for above mentioned systemsAbility to document system architectures and data flowsUnderstanding of Enterprise services to include Active Directory Federation Services, Exchange, XMPP, SharePoint, and SQLUnderstanding of cybersecurity implementation to include Palo Alto, zone based firewalls, and ACLsHands on experience with AMCS and Enterprise systems

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Security Clearance Requirements: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
