We need a dynamic professional to serve as the critical link between Software & Systems Engineering, collaborating across technical teams and interfacing with leadership to drive innovation in missile and weapon system development. Key Responsibilities: 🔹 Lead cross-functional coordination between Systems, Software, Programmable Logic, and Integration & Test teams 🔹 Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, architecture, and specifications 🔹 Interface with leadership including System Engineering IPT Leads, Chief Engineers, and Program Management 🔹 Support system integration and testing, ensuring early identification of required test assets and equipment 🔹 Identify and manage design constraints, collaborating with multiple disciplines and external programs 🔹 Ensure compliance with system architecture development and integration standards Top Skills & Qualifications: ✅ Active DoD Secret Clearance ✅ Strong experience in system integration, requirements management, and software validation ✅ Expertise in embedded software development & testing ✅ Familiarity with IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody for systems engineering ✅ Ability to interpret technical drawings and lead verification activities ✅ Technical depth in missile/weapon subsystems, including RF/sensors, guidance, telemetry, power/battery, and airframe Basic Qualifications: 📌 Education: + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering + 14+ years of systems engineering experience (4+ years in requirement verification) + Master’s Degree in Engineering + 12+ years of experience (4+ years in requirement verification) 📌 Required Experience: ✅ Defense Industry Expertise – Extensive experience in missile/weapon system development and sustainment ✅ Systems Integration & Test – Proven ability to work on complex technical problems, testing, and verification ✅ Ability to work independently while making strategic technical decisions ✅ Strong communication skills to interface with program leadership and technical staff 📌 Additional Skills: 🔹 Embedded Software Expertise – Deep knowledge of real-time systems and software development 🔹 Experience with Systems Engineering Tools – DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo 🔹 Understanding of Product Structure & Document Hierarchy 🔹 Ability to lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) efforts Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $82.00/hr.
