We are looking for a Systems Engineer to focus on our Corporate IT Systems. The EverCommerce Technology team is focused on providing world-class support to all employees. We support a combination of tools to enable business through technology. The team primarily administers the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, Jamf, LastPass, Netskope, Okta, and many other tools that support our employee base.

In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming our IT operations through advanced automation. Your expertise in Okta Workflows, Microsoft Power Automate, and other automation tools will be crucial in streamlining our onboarding processes, enhancing access management, and improving overall system efficiency. You'll have the opportunity to lead innovative projects that significantly impact our organization's productivity and security posture

Responsibilities:

Workflow Automation and Process Optimization

Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for user onboarding, offboarding, and access management using Okta Workflows and Microsoft Power AutomateDevelop and optimize automated account creation processes across multiple systems and applicationsCreate and maintain documentation for automated workflows and processes

Identity and Access Management

Administer and optimize our Okta identity platform, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access controlsImplement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) solutionsDevelop and enforce IAM policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices

Systems Administration

Manage and administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other related servicesOversee Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure and device management tools (such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf)Implement and manage system updates, patches, and security measures

Security and Compliance

Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain access control policiesConduct regular access audits and report on potential security risksEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and internal security policies

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in systems administration and IAM workflowsEvaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance our IT infrastructure and automation capabilities

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on identity and access management and workflow automationProven experience in automating account creation and access management processes in previous rolesExpert-level experience with:Okta Workflows or similar IAM automation platformsMicrosoft Power Automate or equivalent workflow automation toolsMicrosoft 365 suitePowerShell scriptingAzure Active Directory / EntraOffice 365 licensingStrong knowledge of identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDCExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex workflowsRelevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Microsoft Power Platform Functional ConsultantExperience with cloud infrastructure management, particularly in AzureKnowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management principles

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada, with access to our Denver, CO office if you are located in Colorado – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The on-target earnings compensation (base + commissions) for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
