General Description
As a Systems Engineer, you will operate in a dynamic environment, supporting daily business operations and facilitating business changes. Your primary responsibility will be to manage certification environments for applications, oversee development, and continuously improve and support internal development teams. You will provide expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring the successful delivery and performance of IT services for our internal clients, meeting our obligations and Service Level Targets. This role is crucial for the successful growth of our service offerings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Infrastructure
Research and identify the best options for delivery infrastructure. Identify, deploy, and maintain appropriate connectivity options. Enhance the overall quality of service delivered to internal users and clients. Support the Application Support team in managing critical incidents in the Managed Service environment. Design infrastructure solutions using on-prem/cloud technology Collaborate with Cyber Security to evaluate and implement infrastructure solutions and changes. Experience with Tomcat, Linux, Windows servers, VMware, AWS Optional previous experience with development pipelines.Design
Contribute to the roadmap for developing and evolving infrastructure to meet current needs and scale for future business requirements.Continuous Improvement
Propose design improvements for more efficient support of the environment, applications, and clients. Actively work on increasing the availability of our services by iteratively improving existing infrastructure solutions.Minimum Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience
5+ years of experience with computer architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, and operating system concepts.Important: The candidate must provide evidence of academic preparation or courses related to the job posting, if necessary.
