Systems Engineer
Sr Systems Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex systems architectures. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and functionality of system components. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and maintain comprehensive system documentation. Responsibilities + Design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to meet technical requirements. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Work with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones. + Support the installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications. + Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality. + Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. + Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. + 6+ years of experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role. + Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies. + Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture. + Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems, network protocols, software applications, and cloud technologies. + Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and collaboration abilities. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Eligible to obtain a security clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Master’s degree in engineering or a related field. + Active TS/SCI security clearance. + Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). + Experience with tools like CAMEO. + Experience in a customer-facing or consulting role. + Experience with system architectures that include software containerization, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure. Work Environment You will be part of a team of 160 engineers, working in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. You will be one of the first engineers in Tampa, but will have substantial support. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative and cutting-edge technology, with new development projects and a strong relationship with the customer.
