Summary: Systems Engineer sought with expertise in Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) systems, Mission Computers, and Sustainment Solutions to support US defense and international customers.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Scientific field with an electrical engineering foundation.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IFF/Air Traffic Control (ATC)/Navigation/Surveillance or networked enterprise class compute systems.
Must possess a Secret security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract regulations.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Matlab for algorithm development and simulation.
Experience with model-based engineering using MagicDraw.
Familiarity with requirements management using DOORS.
Skilled in automated test scripting languages.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and manage systems level requirements and conduct functional bench tests and qualification tests in an electronics lab environment.
Provide engineering support to production, depot evaluation, and repair of field returns.
Perform site operations, installations, integration, validation support activities at customer locations domestically and internationally, along with customer training development/delivery.
Develop supplier specifications to system requirements; assess supplier product performance against specifications; potentially lead root cause/corrective action investigations.
May lead group or task assignments ensuring technical adequacy of work products, adherence to cost/schedule constraints, and interface coordination with other groups; may generate estimates for proposals.
Adhere strictly to documented engineering processes throughout the full product development lifecycle.
Apply knowledge of IFF design/testing to AIMS/RTCA standards; experience with networked computing in ATCA Linux-based mission systems is essential.
