A new opportunity for a Systems Engineer has arisen within the Space Programs team at Curtiss-Wright. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently across a wide range of tasks and deliver to agreed timescales. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary Engineering team on delivery of data acquisition equipment for Space vehicles and platforms for leading international organisations. **Location** : Dublin, Ireland **Your Challenge:** + Preparation of test plans and test procedures. + Design and assembly of test harnesses and test fixtures. + Execution of functional and environmental tests. + Attendance of environmental tests at external test facilities. + Investigation and documentation of discovered anomalies. + Preparation of technical documentation including test reports, compliance matrices and analyses. + Liaison with Engineering teams and 3rd party vendors. + Supporting customers with technical issues, both remotely and on site. **What you Bring** + University degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent + Knowledge of modern electronics. + Excellent learning and communications skills. + High level of attention to details. + A proven ability to balance various tasks and prioritize effectively. **Pluses** + Previous experience working on Space/ Aerospace projects. + Knowledge and practical experience with Python programming language. + Knowledge of Ethernet networking or automotive/avionics data buses. **About us** Curtiss-Wright division in Dublin, Ireland provides rugged data acquisition, communication and recording solutions that deliver optimal and reliable performance wherever they are deployed.
