As a HALO Reliability, Maintainability and Logistics (RML) Engineer, you will ensure that that astronauts live, exercise, eat, rest, prepare for missions, and conduct research while visiting the Deep Space Gateway maintain the safety and reliability of both the crew and the HALO Module. The pressurized living quarters will provide docking ports for visiting vehicles and serve as the backbone for command and control and power distribution across DSG. Main Responsibilities:The successful candidate will support any or all of the following activities:
Internal logistics RML level meetings and tag-ups with a focus on DRD-065.
Support RML team on all deliveries of DRD-065 Logistics Product Data (LPD).
Analyze technical data to support the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities.
Help import and maintain data within the EAGLE database in accordance with SAE’s GEIA-0007 standard and GP 10050 - NASA/ Gateway ILSP Rev B
Coordinate with engineering teams to develop and resolve issues associated with ILS products
Support the development, delivery, and sustainment of DRD-065 LPD Reports (LSAR – 019, 024, 025, 151) to support the operation and maintenance activities
Develop Maintenance Task instructions for installations, repairs and replacements to include safety warnings/placards IAW industry standards, as a subset of the Maintenance Plan
Attend and support NASA's Mx & Sparing WG; attend and present at HALO NG Program or Board meetings (Quarterlies, Status meetings, CCB, RRB, etc.); Create material for and attend ad hoc NASA meetings
Communicate the overall performance of the vehicle relative to the mission objectives to internal and external customers
Work with the HEO organization to implement lessons learned to develop the HALO vehicle.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 2 years experience or Masters DegreeExperience with working logistics and working with NASA programsExperience completing reliability predictionsExperience performing Fault Tree Analysis Windchill Risk and Reliability Software experience Probabilistic Risk Assessment Experience Work with statistical data analysisPreferred Qualifications:
