Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in defining, allocating, and validating product-level requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and analyzing system functions, with a focus on cost, performance, and complexity at both hardware and software levels.

ResponsibilitiesPerform product level requirements definition, allocation, and validation.Design and analyze system functions focusing on cost, performance, and complexity, including decomposition at hardware and software levels.Support and analyze product verification methods and coverage, including assessment of test results for compliance to customer and certification objectives.Work with systems designers and product leads to develop tester requirements, test procedures, test plans, test cases, and test descriptions from the product, hardware, and software specifications.Manage changes to the technical definition and configuration of products.Identify and mitigate risks.Complete other duties as required.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in systems engineering with embedded control systems from Aerospace, Rail, Space, Military, or Automotive (safety critical domain).Experience in writing tests based on requirements or front-end requirement writing.4+ years of experience with either editing, managing, or authoring requirements.Degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience with traceability tools (i.e., DOORS).Additional Skills & QualificationsAnalog knowledge preferred over FPGA.Knowledge and skills associated with data management and analysis (MatLab, scripting, etc.).Understanding of civil/military specifications standards and practices: DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, ARP-4754A.Understanding of system design risk management, costs, and drivers.Work Environment

Hybrid work model with 3 days on-site. Initial training will require candidates to be onsite for the first few weeks. Following training, candidates will be expected to be on-site 3 days a week or more as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hr.
