Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Team in support of the US/UK Trident Submarine Strategic Weapon System Program. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proficient in planning, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesManage system-level requirements modules in DOORS, including deriving requirements from parent and reference specifications.Allocate requirements to subsystems and perform impact and traceability assessments.Engage with system architecture and verification teams to ensure satisfaction and verification of requirements.Generate and present views of requirements to leadership and stakeholders for review and approval.Leverage DOORS Extension Language activities.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline preferred with 10+ years’ work experience or equivalent education and experience.2 years’ experience supporting systems engineering on large DoD programs.Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS.Basic knowledge of requirements and their purpose in systems engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering including DOORS/DXL and SysML.Experience within the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Office and the Strategic Weapon Systems.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) INCOSE certification.Work Environment
Engineering heavy environment with a state-of-the-art Digital Engineering lab. The team is expanding significantly to support the Strategic Systems Program, which is funded until 2084, offering long-term job stability and growth opportunities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $60.00/hr.
