Job Description
We are hiring a Systems Engineer to assist with our combat vehicle programs, evaluating design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications, and recommending improvements where feasible. In this role, you will work closely with lead diagnostics engineers and design engineers on various programs, including the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV), and the Recovery Vehicle (M88).
ResponsibilitiesUse engineering and scientific principles, logic, and defined procedures to complete tasks in straightforward situations with supervision.Perform basic engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, test, and/or product assurance tasks of limited complexity for assigned portions of a project.Ensure tasks meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.Apply basic engineering design and/or analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices to a limited portion of a technical project.Develop and write technical documentation, make revisions to existing documentation, and provide input to technical papers or presentations.Perform basic technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluation of results using specialized equipment and/or computer programs.Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and/or test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.Develop and maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.Essential SkillsKnowledge of electrical engineering principles.Understanding of engineering design, analysis, and testing.Ability to perform technical analysis and calculations using specialized equipment and computer programs.US Citizenship is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsEntry-level role; knowledge can be from work experience, school work, internships, self-study, etc.Strong technical writing skills for documentation and presentations.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
