Job Description
Our client, an insurance company specializing in minimum-limits personal auto insurance, is seeking a Systems Engineer out of Dallas, TX. This position will play a critical role in designing and maintaining all server, storage, OS and applications while working with M365 services.
This position will be responsible for implementing configurations, troubleshooting outages, managing servers and developing procedures for system administration use and disaster recovery.
This is a contract to hire position at 40-45/hr based on experience. This position is fully remote.
Required Skills & Experience Strong Knowledge and experience with supporting Microsoft 365. Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure services. Cisco Meraki experience. Strong experience with SCCM. Experience with Intune. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline. 7 years of IT experience. 5 Microsoft Windows Server Architecture and Admin experience. Strong automation background. What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown SCCM/MCM, Intune, Cisco Meraki. Work within Microsoft Azure and the M365 environment. Daily Responsibilities Design, deploy, support and maintain all server, storage, operating system and applications in production and pre-production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve system and application outages quickly and efficiently in mission critical environments. Manage servers, including database, email, print and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software. Develop, implement, document and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for system administration usage, and disaster recovery. Ensure infrastructure documentation availability and increase understanding by creating and maintaining documentation as it relates to systems configuration, logical mapping of processes and service records; produce guidance to junior members of the team. Help ensure network security and maximize uptime and availability by participating in all network security solutions; perform server and security audits; perform system backups and recovery.
