The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking highly qualified and trained Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) critical mission operations at Offutt, Nebraska. USSTRATCOM’s mission is to “deter strategic attack through a safe, secure, effective, and credible global combat capability.”
Primary Responsibilities.
Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.May design embedded systems software.Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.May supervise others; provides technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.Serves as a subject matter expert within technical domain area.Basic Qualifications.
BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience.DoD 8140 IAT III Certification (CISM or CISSO or FITSP-D or GCIA or GCSA or GCLD or GDSA or GICSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP). Must have an active Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. Has in-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts and their application across range of programs.Preferred Qualifications.

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
