Summary Systems Engineer is responsible for the delivery of key business capabilities and technology solutions using Java/J2EE, ATG, Spring Framework and Cloud platform for our retail websites (autozone.com, autozone.com.mx, autozone.com.br) and Mobile Apps. This position demands high ability and curiosity to solve complex problems, eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technology landscapes, provide technical solutions and collaborate well with other IT teams, Architects and business partners will be the key qualities. Job Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned: · Create, test and support E-Commerce software application a. Develop Resilient software using ATG11.3, Spring boot based on the system design provided by tech leads and Architects b. Participate in design sessions with the Leads and produce low-level designs as necessary. c. Complete End to End Testing should be performed followed by an extensive unit test d. Demo the application to product owners and in-corporate the feedbacks e. Co-ordinate with QA/UAT partners to support software development life cycle · Support E-Commerce application a. Ensure the Autozone.com application is up and running 24/7 to serve customers b. High importance should be given to customer issues and fix the problems and push it to the release c. Ensure performance of the application is always good d. Create rules to protect systems from bad actors e. Co-ordinate with performance team on day to day to get high level performance metrics · Software Life Cycle and Maintenance a. Software should be developed at high quality and all codes should be maintained in gitlab repositories b. Involve in Code merge process from a release to release c. Software should have a proper documentation so that it can be maintained well for its lifetime d. Able to explain the code and share knowledge with peers Skills and Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree or MS in Computer/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent. + Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Developer or similar with a strong software development background in Java/J2EE Technologies, Spring Boot, Linux/Unix, RDBMS is a must. + Experience in developing/supporting high volume 24/7 customer facing applications is a must. + Hands on cart, checkout, payment, and Knowledge in Retail Domain is strongly desired. + Experience in ATG Framework is a must and GCP is preferred. + Knowledge of source code management system like GIT is a must. + Experience in WebLogic, Apache/Nginx is highly preferred. + Experience with API Gateway/APIGEE and Cloud Foundry is a plus. + Previous experience in working on an Agile team is a desired. + Must be a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills; time-management skills are critical.
