Systems Engineer - Position Description

ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment support to government customers. We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Basic Cyber Defense Analyst) to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC

Security Clearance:

Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

         Cyberspace Workforce (CWF) Position: Cyber Defense Analyst (Basic proficiency Level)         Uses defensive measures and information collected from a variety of sources to identify, analyze, and report events that occur or might occur within the enterprise network in order to protect information, information systems, and networks from threats.         Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems.         Their work is the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications. Engineers design products, machinery, implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, develop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology. Engineers analyze the impact of the products they develop or the systems they design on the environment and on the people using them.

Experience Requirements:

·         1 to 4 years professional experience in Navy DoD and defense systems

·         Preferred: Experience in Navy DoD, Weapon Systems 

Educational & Certification Requirements:

         Associate Degree in a qualifying area OR Noted Certification(s) OR Noted Training         Preferred Degree: CYBR1005 Security Essential; Hunt Methodologies Course (HMC).         Intermediate Cyber Core (ICC).         NEC 746A Information Systems Technician (IAT II).         NEC H09A CANES AN/USQ-208(V) System Administrator/Maintainer.         NEC H10A Basic Cyber Analyst/Operator.\  NEC H13A Navy Interactive ON-NET Operator
