HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to complex problemsPerforms maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networksMaintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capabilityCoordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as neededCreates plans and configures systems for data communication networksDesigns and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networksEvaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the networkMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedWill coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsDesigns and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems. Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testingWill serve as a team or task lead

Required skills:

Must have an active Secret Level security clearanceMust hold and maintain active CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II (i.e.: Security+CE) certification or higherMust hold and maintain active Cisco CCNP R&S certification or higher (or achieve with in 6 months of hire)Must have BA/BS, 8+ years of experience; or equivalentMust be onsite in Hampton, Virginia
