**Systems Engineer - Data Protection** **(TopSecret/Washington D.C)** We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in data protection solutions to join our team. This position offers the chance to work on critical, high-impact projects in a professional and rewarding environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, implement, optimize, and maintain comprehensive data protection solutions (e.g., backup, snapshots, and contingency plans). + Ensure recovery objectives (RPO/RTO) are met by restoring virtual machines across networks and locations. + Perform operational and maintenance duties typical of a systems administrator, ensuring system stability and reliability. + Document processes and solutions to enhance system performance and resilience. **Qualifications:** + 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Administration. + Proven expertise in data protection solutions, such as NetApp, Dell AppAssure, Dell EMC, Veeam, etc. + Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree is a plus). + Infrastructure certifications (preferred but not mandatory). + Active Top Secret security clearance is required to work on secure government projects.
