**We are seeking a Systems Engineer to provide exceptional assistance for technical issues related to building systems. In this role, you will respond to customer calls, utilize a ticketing platform to assess problems, and deliver clear, accurate solutions to ensure client satisfaction. If you're a problem-solver with strong communication skills, we want to hear from you!**
**What You Will Do:**
+ Work within a ticketing system to diagnose and troubleshoot remote issues with building management systems.
+ Answer customer calls by telephone and/or email to determine the nature of the problem, assessing customer needs and providing clear and accurate responses.
+ Provide remote technical support to installers and customers; on-site support may also be required.
+ Triage alarms and create work order dispatches using third-party platforms.
+ Clearly articulate resolutions to customer problems in both verbal and written communication, ensuring explanations are understandable.
+ Perform system analysis and diagnostics, isolating and troubleshooting problems with corrective action when possible.
+ Document problems and resolutions, reporting findings to the Account Executive for customer follow-up.
+ If needed, recreate customer problems in-house to test solutions.
+ Keep customers and CBRE|Smart FM management informed of any outstanding or recurring issues with products, services, or customers.
+ Regularly communicate suggested improvements for customer interactions with CBRE|Smart FM.
**What You Will Need:**
+ Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
+ Work history in HVAC or a similar industry.
+ Knowledge of Tridium Niagara 4.
+ Experience in customer support or a similar role is an asset.
+ Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
+ Experience with control and HVAC systems and their terminology.
+ Experience in customer support over the phone and via a ticketing system.
+ Thorough knowledge of Windows-based computers and desktop applications such as MS Word and MS Excel.
