Position Summary: 

Directly responsible and accountable to the Director of Technology and Operations. Maintains Microsoft Active Directory administration, file server administration, Backup administration and Data Center operations. This responsibility involves adhering to system backup procedures, and ensuring that all server/storage/backup related hardware and software is maintained and updated to optimize system efficiency.  The Systems Engineer I also performs special projects as assigned.

 

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of degree, 2 years of relevant work experience and equivalent technical/vocational certifications. Good organizational skills. Self-motivated with initiative. Systems architecture experience including hardware, software requirements allocation and licensing, is required. Basic knowledge of networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routers. Solid communication skills; effectively communicate in both oral and written form. Able to build strong work relationship with customers and teammates Strong analytical and problem solving skills Capable of working in a fast-paced team environment; able to meet strict deadlines. Possess drive to explore and implement new technologies and improve general technical knowledge is required.
