The Systems Engineering (SE) Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon tasked with defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).

The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) is seeking a Systems Engineer II  with Radio Frequency (RF) and Internet Protocol (IP) Network experience and the leadership skills to drive the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems.  The Patriot Systems Engineer will be part of a small team directly involved in designing, implementing and maintaining various Systems and Network Infrastructures within the Patriot System. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting issues and working with various engineering disciplines to support the development and deployment of the Patriot System.  This role will require communication skills to convey solutions and results to teammates.

This is an onsite role at Andover. MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate :

You will provide aid to various Patriot Ground Equipment major end items, including launchers, shelters, ancillary equipment and trainersYou will design and optimize RF Networks, including link availability studies and capacity planningYou will plan, implement and maintain network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, etc.)You will configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches and access pointsYou will provide ongoing guidance to various Patriot Systems around the worldYou will aid hands-on activities building lab strings to aid port testing and troubleshooting

Qualifications You Must Have :

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2+ years of professional engineering experienceThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 

Qualifications We Value :

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
