As a Systems Engineer II - Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and safety of complex systems and solutions. You will report directly to our Mechanical Design Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on a hybrid work schedule.

The Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) division of Honeywell Aerospace is responsible for a wide variety of product lines including environmental control systems, pneumatic valves, actuation systems, and wheels and braking systems. This position would be a part of the Tempe Reliability and System Safety team who supports these various product lines using state of the art software tools. This team applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSystem Safety Analysis:\n\nSafety requirements decomposition\nFault Tree Analysis (FTA)\nFunctional Hazard Analysis (FHA)\nCommon Mode Analysis (CMA)\n\n\n
\n\nReliability Analysis:\n\nReliability predictions (MTBF, failure rates, MTBUR)\nReliability requirements analysis\nReliability Block diagrams (series and parallel modeling)\nFailure Modes and Effects and Analysis (FMEA / FMECA)\nWeibull analysis\n\n\n
\n\nCollaborate with design and system engineering teams to assure that product meets customer requirements.\nCreation and delivery of analytical reports to the customer.\n\n YOU MUST HAVE\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a reliability or system safety role.\n\n
