The Team The Control Systems (CS) division of Honeywell Aerospace is responsible for a wide variety of product lines including environmental control systems, pneumatic valves, actuation systems, and wheels and braking systems. This position would be a part of the Aguadilla Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety (RMSS) team who supports these various product lines using state of the art software tools. This team applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. Key Responsibilities + Reliability Analysis + Reliability predictions (MTBF, failure rates, MTBUR) + Reliability requirements analysis + Reliability Block diagrams (series and parallel modeling) + Failure Modes and Effects and Analysis (FMEA / FMECA) + Weibull analysis + Maintainability Analysis + Maintainability predictions (MTTR) + Maintainability simulation using Process Simulate software + System Safety Analysis + Safety requirements decomposition + Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) + Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) + Common Mode Analysis (CMA) + Collaborate with design and system engineering teams to assure that product meets customer requirements + Creation and delivery of analytical reports to the customer BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a performance-driven salary, cutting-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. YOU MUST HAVE + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics + Demonstrated experience in a reliability, maintainability, or system safety role WE VALUE + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering + Experience with maintainability analysis on aerospace hardware systems + Experience with reliability and safety analysis on Design Assurance Level (DAL) A systems + Exposure to MIL-STD-882/785 and ARP-4761 + Knowledge of aerospace components including actuation systems and environmental control systems + Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT) products and services are found on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft in the world.
