The Team

\n

The Control Systems (CS) division of Honeywell Aerospace is responsible for a wide variety of product lines including environmental control systems, pneumatic valves, actuation systems, and wheels and braking systems.  This position would be a part of the Aguadilla Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety (RMSS) team who supports these various product lines using state of the art software tools.  This team applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.

\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReliability Analysis\n\nReliability predictions (MTBF, failure rates, MTBUR)\nReliability requirements analysis\nReliability Block diagrams (series and parallel modeling)\nFailure Modes and Effects and Analysis (FMEA / FMECA)\nWeibull analysis\n\nMaintainability Analysis\n\nMaintainability predictions (MTTR)\nMaintainability simulation using Process Simulate software\n\nSystem Safety Analysis\n\nSafety requirements decomposition\nFault Tree Analysis (FTA)\nFunctional Hazard Analysis (FHA)\nCommon Mode Analysis (CMA)\n\nCollaborate with design and system engineering teams to assure that product meets customer requirements\nCreation and delivery of analytical reports to the customer\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics \nDemonstrated experience in a reliability, maintainability, or system safety role\n\n

WE VALUE

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering\nExperience with maintainability analysis on aerospace hardware systems\nExperience with reliability and safety analysis on Design Assurance Level (DAL) A systems\nExposure to MIL-STD-882/785 and ARP-4761\nKnowledge of aerospace components including actuation systems and environmental control systems\nAbility to effectively communicate complex technical information\n\n
