**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee and administer the configurations of the Epic system across various modules, including BLOB, BCA, Printing, Hyperspace/Hyperdrive, Hyperspace Web and Interconnect, MyChart, and Care Everywhere.
+ Continuously monitor system performance and address any issues promptly to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, assisting in the resolution of system-related inquiries.
+ Execute updates, patches, and upgrades for Epic applications while striving to minimize system downtime.
+ Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative personnel to gather requirements for system enhancements.
+ Conduct regular audits of the system to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
+ Prepare and maintain thorough documentation regarding system configurations, operational procedures, and user access management.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
+ A minimum of three years of experience in Epic system administration or a comparable role within the healthcare industry is essential.
+ A strong understanding of Epic applications and their interdependencies within clinical workflows is necessary.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues associated with Epic systems is required.
+ Experience in user access management and adherence to security protocols in a healthcare environment is essential.
+ Exceptional communication skills are imperative, with the capacity to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
+ Experience in the management of hardware and operating systems for database servers is expected.
+ Knowledge of managing storage areas and networks is required.
+ A full understanding of infrastructure management, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Hypervisor platforms, remote application deployment, and incident management, is needed.
+ Technical proficiency in both wired and wireless networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Ethernet/802.3, and Wireless/802.11, is required.
+ Availability to carry a pager or phone and provide on-call support for IT-related issues is mandatory.
+ A willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and evenings, as required, is expected.
+ Familiarity with operating system internals, file systems, and the functionality of hardware components, as well as an understanding of how hardware and software interact to form a cohesive computer system, is necessary.
+ Familiarity with scripting and programming languages is advantageous.
+ An extensive understanding of the complete Microsoft 365 Suite is required.

+ EPIC certification within 6 months

+ Working knowledge of Citrix related technologies
+ Network + Microsoft Azure Certification (Associate or Expert) Security + or CISSP
+ MCSE Certification
+ ITIL Certification
**The current salary range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06**
