As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to:

Provide 24/7 operational support within Windows Server, VMware, Cloud, and hardware technologies.Maintain global collaboration with the other Micron IT operations teams, both internal and external to I&OL2/L3 Incident and problem managementVendor cases managementMaintain OLA and SLA agreements with other Micron Business UnitsServer capacity planningServer lifecycle (Virtual and Physical)Server provisioningOS upgrade and LifecycleCMDB housekeepingInfrastructure health check and monitoringWindows\VMware patching and firmware\drivers upgradeAnalyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.Develops conversion and system implementation plans.Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.Continually improve operations through routine monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions.Reviewing of system log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident, and problem management processes.Recommend and work with the L4 engineers or Solution Architect on system or architectural changes when needed to improve automation, performance, high availability, and scalability.Update operational runbook documentation for any changes in the environment.Prevent infrastructure issues through Splunk, Veeam One or any other analytic tools.

Education Requirement & Eligibility:

Preferred degree is Bachelor’s or Master’sBachelor’s degree in IT field is requiredCGPA requirements = 7.0 CGPA & Above5+ years of experience in Windows Server and Virtualization Technologies.Excellent PowerShell, Power CLI, Python and other scripting skillsInstallation, configuration, and administration of the major Windows\VMware components and strong technical knowledge in the below key technologies:Windows Servers (2012 R2, 2016,2019)AD Group PoliciesActive Directory Domain ServicesStrong server hardware knowledge (Cisco, Dell, Lenovo and HPE)Fundamental networking knowledgeVeeam Backup & Replication Technologies.VMWare ESXi, VSAN, vCenter and other Hypervisor technologies.Nutanix HCI/ Private Cloud ExperienceAny experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS and GCP)Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal).Must be able to work under pressure and project deadlines.Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation.Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem solving.Passion and accountability for the environment you will be responsible for.
