The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division’s Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy’s Team SUBS office.

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a mid or senior-level Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering support to a high prioritiy U.S. Navy Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) program.
You will provide Systems Engineering (SE) support for the program reporting to the Assistant Program Manager (APM) and Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) for various programs. You will provide support in the execution of implementing SE management practices including holding requirements Technical Review Boards, planning and oversight of installations including subsystem testing and certification; overseeing software and firmware development and integration; support Test and Evaluation (T&E) documentation development, planning, and execution; and oversight of SE documents include the Systems Engineering Plan, System Requirements Document, and Subsystem Scope Document, among others.
A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work on-site in DC (2-3 times per week) and travel up to 10% of the time.
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $105,000 – $150,000.
