About our team:
Product Integration is a new group within the Raymond Corporation engineering umbrella focused on implementation of new technologies through developing supporting systems, processes, and documentation required for the product. Our team will use a wide range of engineering techniques in multiple disciplines to provide unique and standardized solutions to specific customer applications across the automation, energy, telematics, and operator assist product offerings.
About the position:
We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to lead projects that will refine and expand the functionality of various systems and products. In this role, you will:
* Establish/ensure robust and repeatable order process for new technologies.
* Develop required supporting systems, databases, or new processes as defined by project goals.
* Develop system tools to support dealer/customer understanding, adoption, and ease of implementation for all new product offerings.
* Support the creation of project critical supporting documentation.
* Develop and refine product features and functionality based on application/customer design issues or changing requirements.
* Participate in design reviews for risk analyses and test plans.
* Work with cross-functional groups to support a lead project engineers and/or program managers.
* Support development teams in design, planning, and execution of validation testing.
* Recommend changes in project direction for future development in response to changing applications and customer requirements.
* Investigate new technologies related to automated material handling products.
* Follow established procedures and guidelines.
* Travel to customers, dealers, and suppliers as required. Travel is anticipated to be 10%-20%.
* Keep manager informed of progress, changes, priorities, issues, and project status.
About you:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Software or Mechanical Engineering.
* 1+ years of experience or a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Software or Mechanical Engineering.
* Ability to travel 10%-20%.
* Excellent organization, coordination, and planning abilities.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Strategic, creative, positive attitude, team-oriented, self-motivated, and critical thinker.
* Ability to present technical material to a technically diverse audience.
It would be great if you had:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Experience with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool.
* Experience with product configuration and configuration tools.
* Understanding of relational databases.
* Previous project management experience
* Experience with 3D modeling software
About the total compensation package:
Salary - $82,000 - $96,600 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
