Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Senior Lead Systems Engineer to join our team! The Systems Engineer will participate in developing tactical hardware and communications solutions in the RF, EW, Wireless, and Digital Signal Processing realm. We are looking for a leader who will participate in the strategy and growth of our programs by collaborating with our external and internal customers and effectively communicating with our team.

What You'll Be Dong:

Overall responsibility as Chief Engineer for multiple interwoven programs to provide prototype capabilities to the warfighter.Oversees design, development, documentation, and testing of complex tactical hardware and software systems from concept development through fielding and sustainment.Provides technical leadership across the various Subcontractor partners, conducts data flow evaluations, and conducts data analysis of findings for trade space considerations and recommended updates of the full system-of-systems prototype architecture,Provides technical leadership for real-time software development and/or complex hardware development for software-based RF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radar systems.Provides the technical leadership for the creation of meaningful customer-facing documentation sets to include authoring an Engineering Master Plan and Overarching Test Architecture Plan and recommended improvements to existing plans.Develops and translates stakeholder requirements into verifiable requirements for the technical execution team. Develops and leads the adoption of appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools appropriate for the projects and technologies.Provides functional management of the System Engineer and Test / Hardware group and provides mentorship and technical leadership to the team including other functions within RSEG – SW development and DSP.Collaborates and coordinates with external and internal customers and partners – builds collaborative relationships through effective communications and outreach.Ability to participate in solutions for new programs, proposals, and pre-proposal efforts to develop concepts and mission requirements into viable system architectures for successful proposals and program execution. Assists with the development of technical roadmaps and strategy for various lines of business – including product development. Entrepreneurial/strategic mindset – wants to be a part of improving and growing a business. A hands-on type of person is very important. Assists with the development of junior personnel through effective mentorship.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems Management, or Electrical Engineering.10 or more years of experienceBackground in design and integration of rapid-prototype development and System-of Systems architecturesExperience with data analysis for trade space consideration of complex system designsExperience modeling data flows for complex integrated systems.Background in real-time software development and/or complex hardware development for software-based RF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radar systems,Background and working level knowledge of digital signal processing, waveform development, RF/microwave design, data analytics, software-defined radios, and software development.Experience in developing customer-facing documentation of specifications, ICDs, design reviews, and test documentation. Develops a wide variety of contractual and internal documentation and reports.Active TS with SCI eligibility.US citizenship is required. 

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience with proposal writing and building customer relations,Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks,Previous Marine Corp RF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radar systems program/project work experience.Previous IC or DoD RF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radar systems program/project work experience.

Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Salary Range: 

$149,900.00 - $269,800.00
