Systems Engineer Senior (Work from home United States)
Job Summary

Responsible for assisting Information Technology staff in the installation, maintenance, implementation, and continuous usage of mid-range and mainframe software and hardware platforms. Provides and promotes a technical environment which will maximize the productivity of IT personnel while minimizing cost and organizational impact.

Job Duties Evaluates, recommends, and implements new system software products, product updates, and new releases.Maintains an inventory of products, current release level and all updates or local modifications.Informs appropriate personnel of new features, limitations, and considerations produced by upgrades or new products.Participates in the evaluation of new hardware products and upgrades.In conjunction with Operations personnel, assists in diagnosing hardware problems and effecting recovery and restart.Provides documentation on general system operating procedures.Establishes and maintains a technical library of resource materials.Controls the distribution of manuals and updates to ensure prudent purchasing, utilization and currency of publications.Facilitates online documentation where possible to avoid hardcopy.Provides education and counsel to users and IT personnel on the use and understanding of systems software.Serves as a liaison to vendor software support personnel as needed by IT personnel.Determines, implements, and facilitates programs and procedures to analyze resource utilization and support planning activities.Provides guidance to other technical personnel in appropriate areas of expertise.

*Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).

Position Details Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Intune solutions to manage and secure mobile devices across the organization.Supports and maintains a Microsoft 365 Environment that includes Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Intune & Entra. Supports and maintains End Point Environments with Active Directory (AD), Intune, Autopilot, & Windows Update for Business. Performs high end tasks such as application integration with Entra (app registrations, enterprise application, SAML configuration), eDiscovery searches, & Conditional Access Policies.

Highly Preferred:

Mobile Device Management (MDM) using Intune Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required) Experience Minimum of 12 years-Relevant experience* (Required) Skills Communication; Interpersonal Communication; Leadership; Teamwork About Geisinger
