Allegion is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic System Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the application of Systems Engineering principles and practices. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers on projects that contribute to the development and enhancement of our innovative security solutions.

What You Will Do:

Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of system components and assemblies.Support the development and integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss project requirements and progress.Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system requirements, interface definitions, and system block diagrams.Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Strong interest in Systems Engineering and its applications.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Compensation:

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

The expected Base Hourly Range: $25-26. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Bonus Eligible: No
