Systems Engineer - TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Our work depends on SYSTEMS ENGINEER joining our team to articulate and lead technical evaluations of software development projects to ensure system compatibility for optimal system performance; collaborate with business users to triage requirements and perform current state system analysis; and establish integrated project team structure and assignments.

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systemsDirecting and managing enterprise IT system development/engineering efforts.Planning tasks for the design of cross domain solutions that support requirements of varying complexity.Planning and managing the coordinated effort of a team of different stakeholders and IT professionals.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.Experience: 15+ yearsRequired Skills:Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible.
Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure build-out using Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as Auto Scaling, CloudFormation, and shell scripting
Demonstrated experience developing highly available systems on Cloud infrastructure utilizing Linux and advanced bash scripts
Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
Demonstrated experience supporting and monitoring highly available, production web applications
Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates and X509 protocols
Familiar with Serverless framework (Lambda)
Demonstrated experience using task tracking and version control technology such as GitHub or JIRA
Demonstrated experience integrating with Sponsor enterprise systems, such as Identity and Access Management, Auditing, Email, and hosted DevOps services
Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development teamDesired Skills:Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning capable of writing and deploying SQL and PL/SQL
Capable of managing Customer Security Assessment and Authorization process and writing technical security documentation
Python development experience Knowledge of visualization tools like (Tableau, Cognos and PowerBI)
AWS Developer or DevOps CertificationSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI with PolygraphLocation: Chantilly, VA, customer siteUS Citizenship Required
