SYSTEMS ENGINEER / VTC OPERATOR | TIER II (MIELS):
Bowhead is seeking Systems Engineer / VTC Operator to support a customer in Honolulu, HI. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.
Responsibilities Installation, configuration, operation, maintenance and create / update system package artifacts for Tactical AV located in Hawaii.Voice over IP (VoIP) systemsVideo conferencing systemsUnified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutionsSession Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunkingVoice and video network architectureQuality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) managementSecurity and compliance for unified communications systems Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years’ of practical experience in voice and video managementFive (5+) years’ experience in unified communications, with a focus on voice and video systems.Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols, including SIP, H.323, and MGCP.Experience with video conferencing systems, including Cisco TelePresence and Ploycom RealPresence.Familiarity with unified communications platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Microsoft Skype for Business.Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.Experience with QoS and QoE management tools, including Cisco QoS and NetIQ.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.CCNP Voice or CCIE Voice certification.CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration certification.Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Skype for Business. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Routing and Switching.Preferred: 7+ years’ experience in Video Audio engineering environment management. Preferred: DoD 8570 / 8140 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required.Preferred: Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified.Preferred: Cloud certified.Physical Demands:

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with Counter Intelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
