Astrion is seeking a candidate to provide Systems Engineering Technical Support, Test Planning and Data Analysis for government customer in Huntsville, AL
What you will do...Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the development, design and evaluation of the Army’s Range Radar Replacement Program (RRRP).Coordinate with team members, system suppliers and U.S. government customers to execute testing, analyze the results and prepare and present test findings.Evaluate the detection, tracking and classification capabilities of the RRRP sensors.Evaluate the hardware and software of multiple systems for adherence to requirements and sound design practices. Monitor the hardware and software development activities and report anomalies, risk areas, and provide suggestions for corrective action. Review hardware and software development documentation to assess adherence to program technical requirements. Assess development schedules to evaluate reasonableness and approach.Plan, schedule and track test activities for verification of system performance requirements for various radar models and range test locations.Lead and participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to support system test requirements, activity timelines and responsibility assignments. Provide direction and tasks to Astrion team in support of RRRP Skills you will need...Qualifications
Must have a DoD Secret security clearance. Strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and government customers.Minimum of 10 years’ experience which includes 3 years of lead / manager experienceAbility to TravelKnowledge and experience in hardware and software design, development, test, and project management is required. Knowledge of systems engineering principles, software best practices, agile development, and project management of DoD systems development is highly desirable. Experience with radar operations and development is highly desirableEducation
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
