The Raytheon Mission Systems Engineering Team is looking for a Systems Engineering Deputy Release Train Engineer (RTE).  As the RTE, you will work with the Program RTE and lead the program through Program Increments.

What You Will Do:

Leading and coordinating Program Increment Planning and Execution for the program

Working with the program RTE and multiple teams across the program to ensure execution is on schedule and raising issues

Developing daily and weekly status to provide to program leadership and the customer

Support RFC efforts and Program Backlog meetings as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.

Experience with large scale program execution, technical documents, agile tools, earned value and/or other contract deliverable items

Systems engineering experience

An active and transferable SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly command and control functionality.

Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team

Systems, Test, and/or Software Engineering experience on a large government software development contract

Experience with Satellite Command and Control or Mission Planning and Scheduling Operations

Experience in SE process development and deployment

Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations

Proven written and oral communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Proficient with Microsoft Project

Knowledge and experience with using Metrics to execute the program

Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
