They lead a team, develop strategies, and manage budgets for system design, implementation, and maintenance, ultimately aiming for efficient and effective systems. **What you will do:** + Direct and mentors a team of systems engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation. + Develop long-range plans, strategies, and performance metrics for the systems engineering function. + Oversee the development, implementation, and integration of systems, ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines. + Provide technical guidance, ensure adherence to best practices, and implement new approaches to system design and development. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other engineering departments and business units, to align system solutions with organizational objectives. + Monitor and evaluate the performance of systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. + Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to security, data protection, and industry best practices. **What you will need to have:** + 10+ years of experience providing efficient and effective enterprise deployment of infrastructure components. + 7+ years of experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to system performance. + 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and presentations for various stakeholders. + 7+ years of experience evaluating and selecting vendors for system components and services. + 7+ years of developing and managing budgets for the systems engineering department and allocating resources effectively. **Important info about this role:** + All offers of employment are contingent on standard background checks.
