We are seeking to hire an Engineering Aide at either our campus in sunny Orlando, FL, or beautiful Grand Prairie, TX
What You Will Be Doing
The Systems Engineering (SE) Aide will be responsible for assisting the System Engineering Leadership team in managing and coordinating various activities across the Directorate. This will include help with staffing needs across the various programs at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. This individual will be responsible for facilitating job requisitions, supporting candidate interviews, and pulling reports and metrics related to staffing.
The individual will also assist the team in planning and executing various initiatives across the Systems Engineering discipline, related to Technical Training, Process Improvement, and Organizational Health Metrics. Additionally, the Engineering Aide will coordinate with the Administrative Assistant to organize and support various engineering meetings, including agenda and invitee prep, collecting meeting materials, conference room scheduling, as well as food and beverage arrangements. Finally, they will assist with the operations of the SE College Work Experience Programs (CWEP).

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft365 Tool Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Experience with collaboration tools (Teams, Sharepoint, Confluence)
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance as well as obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Associates Degree in a technical discipline is highly desired
Experience with Atlas Learning and Tableau Dashboards
Experience with staffing tools, like TRS, BrassRing and BeeLine
Strong Organizational and Interpersonal skills.
Strong Verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Candidate must be proactive and goal oriented.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
