The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.** **Roles Responsibilities** **As a small and medium size rooftop intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to activities and tasks listed below:** **Focus Areas** + **New Product Development** + **Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Thermodynamics, and Controls** + **Product Documentation** + **Project Management** **Specific Tasks** + **Develop product literature, including physical data and performance tables** + **Run computer models to simulate system and component performance** + **Support engineering projects by organizing parts for prototype builds and working with mechanics and model shop to build parts and assemblies** + **Work with the design team in developing purchased parts specifications** + **Attend company functions, lunch and learns, and networking events** + **Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks** **Basic Qualifications** + **Must** **be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Chemical, etc.)** + **GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA.** + **Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.** **Preferred Qualifications** + **Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications** + **Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills** + **Self-driven and proactive** + **Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities** + **Ability to communicate effectively at all levels** + **Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects** \#EarlyCareers RSRCAR LI-Onsite **Pay Range:** $41,000 - $96,450 Annually **_Carrier is An Equal_** **_Opportunity/Affirmative_** **_Action Employer.
