Systems Engr I M&V Energy Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.     Analyze and verify utility data along with operations and commissioning reports for sanity and benchmarking process using Measurement and Verification tools and techniques.

2.     Develop energy baselines utilizing energy/utility accounting software like Metrix 4.0 or Option C of Abraxas.

3.     Energy Conservation Measures verification and design support to the solution onsite solution development engineers using data modeling software.

4.     Monitor energy trends that identify opportunities and anomalies in EPC project lifecycle, especially install stage.

5.     Support peak load management/demand response program with data analysis and performance trends.

6.     Collaborate with onsite team to develop and verify ECM installation and commissioning documents.

7.     Establishment of sustainability reports and Green House Gaseous emissions reporting as per ISO 14064 and ISSB/GRI standards.

8.     BMS (Building Management System) knowledge and proficiency to review/archive reports and analyze to submit monthly/quarterly and annual reports.

9.     Portfolio and stakeholder management, deliver reports as per schedule and follow stringent timelines, ability to work effectively on multiple projects at a time.

YOU MUST HAVE

Education: 

Graduate preferably with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Msc in Physics is fine as well

Post-Graduation: PG Diploma in Energy Management

Credentials like CMVP/CEM/CEA will be advantageous.

1.     Review and analyze facility data and energy bills, including utility rates or tariffs, for benchmarking purposes. Assist with energy-efficient operations using building automation systems and sensor deployment in the field.

2.     Work closely with M&V specialist to correct any incorrect account information and estimated billings. Create/analyze energy baselines utilizing energy/utility accounting software.

3.     Quantify and adjust energy consumption data to establish baselines for energy use or need, and for measurement and verification (M&V) purposes. Monitor and provide monthly reports on energy trends that identify opportunities and anomalies.

4.     Determine patterns of building use to show annual or monthly needs for heating, cooling, lighting, or other energy needs for annual agency energy budget.

5.     Support peak load management/demand response program with data analysis and performance trends to participating facilities. Development of the Energy Savings Plan and coordination with the development team to ensure the M&V plan is followed.

6.     English language fluency (spoken/written) is expected as daily communication with global (mostly US & Europe region) business stakeholders and customers is required as part of work/delivery.

7.     Additionally French & German language knowledge will be beneficial (Not mandatory).

8.     Advanced skill set on MS-Office, especially MS-excel is a must.

9.     Understanding and knowledge of Power BI and AI basic codes will be beneficial (Not mandatory).
