Lockheed Martin is looking for a dedicated Staff Systems Integration Engineer to join the Satellite Engineering, Operations & Sustainment Support (SEOSS) Factory Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be key to ensuring the successful operations and sustainment of the Military Space Operations Support Area. This position works closely with the functional leads to across hardware and software and will act as the lead system integrator for the Integrated Factory Infrastructure.
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will:
• Support integration of projects and teams across the NGG Factory while interacting with hardware, software, network, and architecture skill domains
• Support system level design and implementation of established system architecture and CONOPS for changes to the Factory Infrastructure
• Support system architecture analysis and interface definition and management/execution
• Support studies and system product comparison and analysis for enhanced capabilities and emerging technology
• Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution
• Support development of plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission
• Participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards
Basic Qualifications:
• Systems Engineering process knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process including trade studies, design reviews and system verification.
• Knowledge of system networking and understanding of data center operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Willing to do minimal travel if required (25% or less)
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience on similar systems, networking, network infrastructure, system administration on Windows and/or Linux, network and system architecture
• Prior experience on SBIRS or from SBIRS Auxiliary Support Center or Military Space/satellite operational systems a plus
• Interpersonal skills between multiple disciplines to ensure mission requirements/integration needs are satisfied
• Ability to take conflicting needs/priorities, and synthesize/communicate a clear path forward for team execution
• Data center operations, preferably in a DoD environment
• Familiarity with traditional Systems Engineering processes as well as Agile/ Go-Fast/ Scrum techniques
• Active Secret security clearance

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
